David R. Jones is a highly accomplished financial executive, serving as the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of CastleOak Securities, L.P., a leading boutique investment bank. With over 30 years of Wall Street experience, Jones has played a pivotal role in CastleOak's growth, overseeing the expansion of its operations and establishing it as a top-ranked Minority and Women-Owned (MWOB) firm in various financial services.
Before founding CastleOak in 2006, Jones held critical positions in the financial sector. He was the Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets at Blaylock & Company, Inc., where he collaborated closely with Fortune 500 clients. Before that, he gained valuable experience at Merrill Lynch, focusing on investment banking and equity capital markets.
Jones' expertise encompasses evaluating equity and debt market trends, valuing and positioning public companies, and marketing and syndicating general security offerings to institutional clients. His leadership has been instrumental in CastleOak's success, leading to its substantial growth in business activities and personnel across six offices in the United States.
Jones holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, and a B.S. from Boston University. He is actively involved in various organizations, serving as the Chair of The Ohio National Financial Services, Inc. Advisory Board and as a member of The New Jersey Performing Arts Center Board of Directors, The New York Chapter Young Presidents' Organization, and The Executive Leadership Council.
