Before his current role, he co-founded the Technology Division of Wells Fargo’s growth equity practice, where he managed a pool of sustainable technology investments12.
Mr. Van Horne has been recognized for his influential work. He was named one of the 50 most influential venture capital investors by GCV from 2019 to 2021, and he also made Pitchbook’s 2022 list of Notable African Americans in technology13. His commitment to social impact extends beyond finance. He serves on the Board of Advisors of Women’s Venture Fund, which provides financing and advisory solutions for women-owned small businesses in the New York Tri-State area. Mr. Van Horne is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he teaches Foundations of Private Equity. He has also published several white papers, including "Impact of Group-Buying Models on Small Business Purchasing: Pilot Research Analysis" 1. He holds a degree from Howard University and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area1.
